Marina Plissiti graduated frοm the Computer Science Department of the University of Ioannina. (BSc 1998, MSc 2001, PhD 2012).
Her main research interests are focused on computer vision and image processing, with emphasis on biomedical applications.
Her publications in international journals and conferences include 9 journal papers, 20 papers in conferences proceedings and 2 book chapters (Google Scholar: Citations 1164, h-index 15, September 2021).
Since October 2017 she is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Ioannina.
