Star Channel TV program consists of two major sectors: Informative and Entertainment.

The news sector is constantly refreshed with innovative ideas and initiatives. Emphasizing in openness and agility, it gives the viewer the impression that he does not only watch the news but that he is in it, providing various details from the sources and the persons that are involved. Of course, when it comes to international news, Star Channel works with well-known news agencies and has correspondents in major European capitals, as well as in the US.

This year, the station began its cooperation with acclaimed journalist and publisher Nikos Chatzinikolaou, who will be the main commentator in the 8 o'clock news. Star Channel newscasts are widely accepted by the viewers as it obvious by the ratings, and differ substantially for the competitors as they keep equal distances from all political parties and emphasize in the objective analysis of foreign and domestic developments. At the same time, everyday matters that interest the average citizen, such as social matters, criminal cases, arts, lifestyle etc, are given their fair share of time and extent.

The daily shows of the station cover an equally wide spectrum of interesting subjects and during the 2013-14 TV season, almost 10 hours of original shows are broadcasted on a daily basis. Popi Tsapanidou, Eleonora Meleti, Fotis Sergoulopoulos-Maria Bakodimou and Tatiana Stefanidou are the main hosts of these shows.

Strategically, Star targets mainly towards the 15-44 age group of viewers that are the most dynamic consumer group.

In terms of acquired content, Star Channel has been recognized for years as the "TV station with the best foreign movies and series", a fact steadily confirmed by the ratings and the relevant TV awards presented to the station.

The children's program that is broadcasted every weekend and in the weekday mornings during school holidays, covers a broad range of entertainment needs of young viewers, addressing children 4-14 years old. As a result, Star Channel has been constantly at the top place of the ratings for this age group for the past 10 years, with a percentage share of approx. 40%.

Star Channel has one of the richest foreign movies libraries of rights, with more than 1.000 movie titles and 100 TV series of high quality. The station's principle suppliers of foreign program are the global giants Warner and Universal. Additionally, the company cooperates with Greek distributors like Audio Visual, Odeon and Village. Animation movies and other children programs are supplied via co-operations with a number of Greek and foreign companies.

The goal of Star Channel remains to steadily improve its position in the TV environment, equally emphasizing in both the News and the Entertainment sectors, through TV programs that satisfy the interests and the demands of the largest possible percentage of viewers.
