Vassilios V. Dimakopoulos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, Ioannina, Greece. He is the Director of Graduate Studies and was Deputy Chairman of the Department. Starting Dec. 2017, he serves as the Dean of the School of Engineering. His research interests evolve around parallel and distributed systems, parallel programming models, embedded systems, computer architecture and performance analysis. He heads the Parallel Processing Group.
