devices. Prerequisites: ECE242, CSC326, and ECE341, or instructor's permission.

- 2001/05/03: It appears that marks for Lab5 and Lab6
have not yet been entered for Reza's
- 2001/05/02: The final
list of lab marks has been posted. Adjusted midterm marks (i.e., as a
result of remarking) will be posted within the next day -- as soon as
I finish processing petitions/appeals/etc..
- 2001/04/25: Sorry, the link to the lab marks was
incorrect (".html" instead of ".txt")... it's been corrected below.
- 2001/04/24: As promised, a preliminary list of lab
marks is available here.

- 2001/04/13: Several people have sent e-mail claiming
that the study
guide is out of date. This is not the case: it simply lists the
subset of the textbook sections that are most important. (i.e., if you
don't have time to read everything, then at least read this!)
UPDATE: Please note that the section references for the 3rd and
4th edition are the same.
- 2001/04/08: The material that the final exam will be
based on has been posted in the newsgroup.
- 2001/04/07: Assignment #6 will now be treated as a 5%
bonus on your final mark. Labs #1 through #5 will count as the 25%
"Assignments" portion of the mark. Please see the newsgroup for further
details.
- 2001/03/25: Assignment #6 is
posted. Due Sunday, April 8th, 11:59:59pm.
- 2001/03/24: An updated list.h
and list.o have been posted. Please let me know ASAP if any bugs are
discovered.
- 2001/03/22: Late Lab #5 submissions will be accepted,
without penalty, until Sunday, April 1st, 2001, 11:59:59pm. (No, this
isn't an April Fool's joke.) See the newsgroup for more details.
- 2001/03/11: Assignment #5 has
been posted. Due Sunday, March 25th, 2001, 11:59:59pm.
- 2001/03/08: Midterm room allocation: SF1013: 93 students [Abad, A. -> Kwok, W.], SF3201: 80 students [Kwong, R. -> Qiu, X.], SF3202: 74 students [Raddatz, A. -> Zhao, S.]
- 2001/03/05: A final reading list for the midterm has been
posted in the newsgroup.
- 2001/03/05: The midterm will be written on Thursday,
March 8th from 6pm to 8pm in rooms SF1013, SF3201 and SF3202. We're still
awaiting confirmation on the number of seats in each room...
assignments of people to rooms will be posted ASAP.
- 2001/03/04: For those enquiring about textbook sections
for the midterm, you should be familiar with sections 2.1-2.4, 3.1-3.3,
4.1, 5.1-5.6, 6.1-6.3. The midterm will focus both on lab and lecture
material. A final reading list will be posted tomorrow (Monday).
- 2001/03/02: The deadline of Assignment #4 is extended
to Sunday, March 18, 2001, 11:59:59pm. Additional information
regarding this issue has been posted in the newsgroup.
- 2001/02/28: Courtney's Wednesday lecture will be
cancelled this week (see the newsgroup for more info...)
- 2001/02/25: A reference solution for the Assignment #1
lists (which are needed for Assignment #4) is available here:

- 2001/02/19: Assignment #4
has been posted, for those who would like to start working on it
early. Due Sunday, March 11th, 2001, 11:59:59pm.
- 2001/02/10: Due to popular demand, the due date for
Assignment #3 will be extended to Sunday, February 25th, 2001,
11:59:59pm. This is an absolute deadline: no late
submissions will be accepted, for any reason.
- 2001/02/05: Assignement #3
has been posted. Due Sunday, February 18th, 2001, 11:59:59pm.
- 2001/02/05: Due to the website outage on the weekend,
the deadline for Lab #2 will be extended until Tuesday (Feb 6th)
11:59:59pm.
- 2001/02/05: As announced in class last week, lab
quizzes will begin starting this week.
