About me

In June 2015, I received my PhD from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Ioannina, in Greece, under the supervision of Prof. Lisimachos Paul Kondi. The topic of my dissertation was "Resource Allocation and Visual Quality Estimation for Wireless Video Transmission".

My research interests are in the area of signal processing and communications.

I received my MSc degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Ioannina in 2011, and my BSc degree from the Computer Science Department of the University of Crete, in 2008. In June 2003, I graduated from the 6th lyceum of Larissa, in Greece, where I was also born.

Research Interests

My research interests focus mainly on EEG processing, video quality assessment, video quality metrics, QoE optimization, resource allocation, visual sensor networks, dynamic power management, joint source and channel coding.
